The Middleton Ross Round-Up 2025
A review of our business in 2025.
As the end of 2025 approaches and we prepare to close our doors for the festive break to enjoy time with family and friends, we would like to take a moment to reflect on our achievements over the past year.
After finishing 2024 on a high, celebrating 125 years on the high street, 2025 began at a fast pace, and that momentum continued throughout the year. We have been delighted to welcome many returning clients, as well as a number of new ones.
This year, we focused on sharing more about what we do as a firm. The launch of our YouTube channel, along with our live Q&A sessions, has been a great success and well received by our social media followers.
Our team has continued to grow, and we were pleased to welcome Louise to the Cashroom team in April. We also welcomed Geoff to our Property Department in the autumn. As part of our continued expansion, we are currently growing our property department with the launch of Highland Homes in early January. Keep an eye on our social media channels for further updates, and see if you can spot our new Highland Homes vehicles on the road.
Staff achievements have also been a highlight this year. We are delighted to share that Angus, who joined us two years ago as a Legal Executive from Australia, where he was a qualified solicitor, has now completed his recertification in Scotland and is officially a solicitor with the firm. Donna, our cashier, has also completed her SOLAS training and worked extremely hard to achieve a distinction in her exams.
In May, we took part in “Make a Will Month” in support of Highland Hospice, raising an incredible £6,200. Thank you to everyone who supported us during this initiative, we always receive a fantastic response.
Our ‘Volunteer a Day’ initiative continued this year, allowing staff to dedicate a working day to volunteer with a local charity. Seven members of our team supported Mission Christmas by sorting and packing toys for this year’s appeal. We are excited to continue this programme into 2026, further strengthening our commitment to giving back to the community.
Finally, in December we held our Staff Christmas Jumper Day and raised a fantastic £60 for Mikeysline.
We want to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported Middleton Ross in what has been a busy year. We want to especially thank our staff whose dedication ensures we continue to provide outstanding service to our clients.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and we look forward to welcoming you in 2026!
