Nurturing the next generation of Staggies!
Middleton Ross is proud to support Ross County Football Club’s Schools Partnership Programme.
As part of the programme, Ross County FC is working with more than 14 businesses to sponsor schools throughout the Highlands to deliver physical activity. Middleton Ross is supporting Dingwall Primary School to ensure physical education provision is delivered to pupils.
Not only does the programme help children in the region stay active, it promotes positive messages around mental, social and emotional wellbeing, and boosts their confidence.
Currently, 18 schools in the Highlands participate in the programme. 67 sessions are delivered each week to 2,090 young people, with more than 1,070 sessions provided so far. The programme has also created three part time staff positions.
Commenting on the programme, John Maxwell, senior partner at Middleton Ross, said: “As a Ross County supporter and former Dingwall Primary School pupil myself, the Ross County Football Club’s Schools Partnership Programme is an initiative very close to my heart.
“Promoting physical, mental and emotional wellbeing is so important for the young people in our communities so I’m delighted that Middleton Ross can help.

“The programme is just one of our charity initiatives and we’re currently on the lookout for our next great cause to support. We are calling on Ross-shire good causes to apply for funding support, whether these are sports teams, charities or community organisations. We’ll then select a cause to support, alongside the Ross County Schools Partnership Programme and other initiatives.
“As one of the oldest businesses in Ross-shire, we’re proud to be part of the community and always keen to do whatever we can to help it flourish.”
Sports teams, charities or community organisations in Ross-shire interested in applying for support from Middleton Ross should apply via jam@middletonross.co.uk. Please include a background on the organisation and details of the support required.
