Detached lodge in a stunning semi-rural woodland location which is approx. 1½ miles from the village of Contin where there is a convenience store, garage, coffee shop, hotel with a restaurant and a bus stop with a regular services to Dingwall which is nine miles away and which offers a range of amenities including a leisure centre with swimming pool, a library, a wide variety of shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, banks and a Post Office. Larch Lodge was built around 1976 along with nine other chalets forming a small complex. Although they were originally built as holiday accommodation Larch Lodge has the appropriate planning consent for year round use. The lodge is surprisingly spacious and tastefully decorated throughout. The bathroom and boiler were both replaced around six years ago. There are many beautiful woodland and riverside walks in the surrounding area which is teeming with wildlife. The lodge would provide a charming home for a small family or given its position on the North Coast 500 it would also provide ideal holiday accommodation.
Directions from Contin heading west follow the A835 for approx. 1 mile then turn left into Craigdarroch Drive which is signposted, continue for ½ mile then turn up the hill to the right.
