Keppoch is situated 2 miles from the small village of Kiltarlity, a thriving local community with Post Office, shop, coffee shop, village hall and local primary school (Tomnacross) with older children attending Charleston Academy in Inverness with transport being provided to both schools. Six miles away is the very popular village of Beauly which has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars and is within easy commuting distance of Inverness which is 14 miles away and Dingwall which is 14 miles distant. There are regular bus services from Kiltarlity and Beauly and there is also a train station at Beauly.

Directions from Inverness or Dingwall: Turn off the A862 on to the A833 (signposted Kiltarlity) continue along the A833, you will pass Belladrum on the left and Brockies Lodge on the right. Continue on then turn left at the sign for Foxhole, you’ll pass over a small bridge, then turn first left. Go up through the trees on a bendy road to the crest of the hill (about ½mile) on the left hand side you will see a sign for Pettyvaich which is shaped like a fish, Keppoch is the next house on the right, the gate is set back from the road and there is a house sign on the gate.
