Avoch is a picturesque fishing village situated on the north shore of the Moray Firth with many traditional houses and fishermen’s cottages around its centre. The village is a popular residential area and holiday destination which is within easy commuting distance from both Inverness and Dingwall and benefits from shops, a Post Office, a hotel, restaurants and take away food outlets. Avoch harbour is used for both fishing and pleasure boats and the world famous colony of bottlenose dolphins can be spotted from Fortrose which is just two miles away. 6 Margaret Street is a mid terraced traditional stone built house under a slate roof which is close to the beach in the old fisher town conservation area in the village. Directions: From the Tore Roundabout take the A832 towards Fortrose and continue for 6½ miles until you reach Avoch, continue into the village and just past the Scotmid shop take the first on the right into margaret Street. Number 6 is about two thirds of the way down the street on the left, you can park in the street or at the shore.
