Covid-19

Middleton Ross are taking measures to keep our staff and clients safe while still providing a quality, personal service.

We are aware that there is a need to maintain an excellent service to clients, but we are also aware that many of our clients are at risk of being exposed to Covid-19, and some of our clients and their close friends and relatives might fall into that category.

As such we have been making some changes to minimise the risk of spreading the virus while providing the level of service that our clients are accustomed to.

Such measures include:-

  • Working from home. We are encouraging staff to work from home as much as possible.
  • Client contact. We are encouraging our clients to have fewer face-to-face meetings at our premises and to contact us by telephone or e-mail.
  • Essential meetings. Where it is essential that we have a face-to-face meeting, we ask that you follow government guidelines on hygiene. We have taken a policy to not shake hands with clients and thank you for your understanding on that.
  • Symptoms. If any of our staff or clients are unwell then they are asked to self-isolate for seven days. If anyone within the household is showing symptoms then the advice is for the household to self-isolate for 14 days.  No-one from our firm will be having face-to-face contact with individuals in that situation.

We will continue to offer our full range of services to clients, thank you for your co-operation in the meantime and wish that everyone stays safe and well.

Key points

  1. We are continuing to accept new business for professional services
  2. There is no access to solicitors in person.  Where possible we will conduct our meetings either over the phone or via video conferencing.
  3. Our offices in Dingwall and Alness are closed to the public.  Our telephone lines remain open and enquiries can be directed to 01349 862214
  4. The estate agency department has closed temporarily, as such the wider team will deal with any urgent enquiries from clients and interested parties alike.
  5. We are where possible, working remotely and protecting client confidentiality by restricting sensitive information to those who have access to secure IT.

We will continue to update this page with any further changes to our day to day business operation.

In the meantime, stay home and stay safe.
